Behind the scene of air strikes against Yugoslavia, Top story of the Globe in the spring 1999, there is an inside drama in Radio Television of Serbia. Narrator:  Electronic publishing in 21st century is alternative way of traditional book publishing, although there are almost no writers from Serbia who want to publish electronic book. Aleksandar Krzavac from Belgrade is one of a very few who has published three books on internet in English language. They are available on very popular book retail websites in North America. Aleksandar Krzavac has got video review and very good review for his book that was marked four star.

We ask the author How he has decided to publish books on internet; Why he writes in English language and Has The Electronic Publishing Future?

Hot New ReleaseAleksandar Krzavac: Fast technological progress and development of internet communications on one side, and inclination for writing and English language on other side, make me feel to try to publish works on internet.

Why do I write in English language?  It looks a bit strange for my native language is Serbian.  Nobody asks singers on Eurovision song contest why do they sing in English. Looking at Eurosong singers one could conclude that in two thirds od European countries English is native or official languge. We, all know that is not the case. First, writing in english as well as singing in english enables access of much wider audience, global audince, to book or other work; no matter whether it’s fiction, non-fiction or scientific work.

Next, is some kind of my protest against unnatural splitting of one Serbo-croatian to two Serbian and Croatian language; later emerged two more languages Bosnian and Montenegrin. Many internationally recognized experts and linguists does not approve such splitting of one to four languages. Frankly, those so called languages are just different forms of the same language that has been spoken once upon a time in Yugoslavia. Unfortunately, these „new languages“ were recognized by official international community too. Could you imagine that English spoken in US be American language, or, for instance, in Australia, Australian language.

The point is that I want readers can read my books, not just in London, Los Angeles and Sydney, but in Belgrade, Zagreb, Sarajevo and Podgorica too. If I write in Serbian language I am not sure it will be possible.

I think that Electronic Publishing has bright future. Why. It’s much faster, more efficent and more affordable than traditional way of publishing. That is very important for authors who are not well known. That’s good for publishers too for they don’t run the great risk printing high circulations, in advance, that cannot be sold. Next, In $200 small tablet e-reader can be placed up to 1000 books. For such number of traditional paperback books one need small apartment.

The Serbian author Aleksandar Krzavac got a Video Review on the website Write Like A Wizard

thebooknymphpublishingThe Serbian author Aleksandar Krzavac got a Video Review for his new book entitled “Media Guy. God Blesses Media, but not Media Professionals” on the very popular website Write Like A Wizard, United States. This website is specialized in the promotion and book reviews. The Facebook account of Write Like A Wizard totals more than 7,287 members, and Twitter has over 14,600 followers!

The same article is also published on The Book Nymph Publishing & Promotions website. The Facebook  account of The Book Nymph Publishing & Promotions totals more than 6,926 members! But that’s not all… the book is also promoted on Google+ and Pinterest. Readership is therefore quite important. Here is the Video Review:

He passes through various happenings interesting, sometimes even dramatic but in any case funny. As simple as that he is Media Guy – very naive amateur journalist, almost stupid in some cases but at his best he is the “Top Gun” committed to excellence. Reporting from the heart of jungle full of man-eating savages or tribal war sites is for him as ordinary as chatting with colleagues in TV studio. As many others he is not sure whether TV journalism is profession or passion. That’s why he runs extreme risk doing his assignments. Doing that damned, cursed job he is not even sure whether he fulfills his or parents’ desires.

Even if it looks like he is the loser that’s just for short period.

All tense even dramatic situations Media Guy turns to happy end.  For the same reason he is fired and he is at the same time awarded as the “Funniest journalist of the Year”.
